Interestingly enough, his egg route was so successful that sometimes his mother borrowed money from Andy to pay the rent. During Andy's adolescent years, he met his wife Nancy in the 3rd grade and finally started dating her sophomore year of high school. Andy played football and basketball, while Nancy was head cheerleader. The high school sweethearts stayed together into college as Andy received a football scholarship from Stanford University.
