Vermont Cabinetry, Incorporated was founded in 1976. From small beginings in Blue Island Illinois, the two man shop supplied cabinets and counter-tops to builders doing remodeling and building in the neighborhood. In 1983, the business took on a new vision of building cabinets. With the introduction of new technologies into the business and computer design programs, designers took cabinets to a new level. The small business in Blue Inland grew to 20,000 square feet including a 2,000 square foot show room, and more craftsman were hired to create the finished cabinets. Cabinet design from 1983 to the present has been crafted on the computer working with the customer’s vision.
